Eddie and Jean Blattner - Our Honeymoon

Here are some pictures from our Honeymoon in Orlando! Thank you to everyone who came to our wedding, we had a wonderful time - hope you did too!

Now we're in Orlando! Here are some pictures of our hotel. My thrifty Wife found a deal on the internet for Westgate Lakes Resorts. All we had to do is listen to a 90 minute presentation on their time shares, and we get a $159.00/night room for $29.99/night! We checked in Sunday night, about 7:30 pm - our check out time was Friday morning at 10:00 am; Total cost $176.00 AWESOME Sunday night we just walked around on International Blvd, and ate at an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet with crab legs and lobster tails - pretty good!

Monday morning, we woke up at about 9:30 - today we're going to Sea World! There are some pretty good pictures in here. If you like dolphins, you'll really like some of the pictures we got. If you want one full size, let me know.

We got back to the hotel at about 4:30, sat on the porch for a couple hours, and hit Downtown Disney. This was a pretty cool place. There were shops to go in, resturants, and a strip with about 6 clubs - we didn't go to any clubs, but did eat at a really cool resturant. It was called The Rainforest Cafe This place was awesome, the reason I linked to it is so you can take a virtual tour if you want. I took a bunch of pictures inside, but only a few really looked good.

Now it's Tuesday - a day to rest, and relax. At the resort, there are 4 person pontoon boats you can rent by the hour, so we took one out on the lake for an hour - this was so relaxing. After that, we went to the pool and had Bahama Mamas and Pina Coladas. Here is where we think we got sunburned; it isn't possible to go to Florida and not get a little too much sun - is it?

Anyway, after about another hour and a half, we headed back to the room to cool off before going to the Hard Rock Vault. This was pretty cool. It is a Rock and Roll Memorabilia museum with a guided tour. When we got there, the tour had already started. We told the people we had someplace to be 8:00 so we couldn’t wait for the next tour. I told them we could come back, but they said they could start us out in the middle, in front of the current tour, and then finish up with the first few rooms. So, one of the tour guides took us through the tour - just Jean and I. That was great, a very personal tour of the Hard Rock Vault.

Now it is time for our 8:00 appointment - The Tiger Show This resort had a wild animal show - on the second floor - in the cafeteria! It was pretty neat, Jean almost got to pet a lepord, but she did get her picture taken with it. As it turns out, there is some stupid law that says a person can not pet an endangered animal - what is it going to do, shed?

Ok, here is is, our last full day here - where to? Universal Studios! This was a lot of fun. We first saw Twister, a bit of a let down but pertty cool. I think we were expecting a little too much here. Then we were going to ride The Mummy, but thought our sunburn wouldn't like it too much. We did ride pretty much everything else - Jaws, Men in Black, Terminator 3-D (Killer!), Earthquake, E.T. (another neat ride), and Shrek 4-D (Cool, and pretty funny!). The pictures I have of Universal are the streets, and some cars that were there from the movie "The Fast and the Furious 2". The Charger was from the first one - a pretty bad ass car if you saw the movie. When we left Universal Studios, we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe, and had drinks at Margaritaville.
